Weekend : D

It has been a nice weekend- I got to hang out with a few girlfriends most of the day yesterday- Tiff, Annie and I went to get the cheap all you can eat lunch at the Olive Garden, and then we went to see the movie "The Unborn." After that we went to La Fonda's, which is a nice little Mexican restaurant down the street from where we live- drank a few margaritas and snacked on good food- then I went with Annie to Rachel's house- I brought Buddy over there, Rachel has 2 pugs and a yellow lab puppy. Buddy wasn't too pleased with me at first, but he got used to them fairly quickly and ended up really enjoying himself I think : ) At Rachel's last night we decided to meet back up this morning for breakfast- bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and mimosas! After that Tiff and I went to Fresh Pickin's, Fresh Market, and Target to get some groceries. I came home, cleaned the crap out of my house, and now I am almost done- just need to finish cleaning the kitchen and fold my laundry and I'm done for the day! I absolutely love having a full weekend off from work- I had to work the last two Saturdays in a row- the last Saturday in December and the first one in January since they switched my rotation on me. So I was sooo thankful for this full weekend! And I really enjoyed spending time with my girls this weekend- it's nice to have a close knit group of girls. All of us met because our hubbies and boyfriends work for Tiburon as divers and tenders, and I get along with all of them so well! Just one more thing I have been thankful for lately.

I'm so glad you have good friends to hang out with while Mike is offshore. It sounds like you guys had a good time too! And speaking of Olive Garden, I hope the gift card has made it to you guys by now--sorry for sending it so late! Glad you had a nice long weekend! --Jenny

Thats sounds like fun, I had been thinking about taking buddy over there, but I wasn't sure how it would go, and I didn't want to have to lock him up.
