Ok, so after a week of craziness, we finally have internet up at the new house and I can post some pictures!! We did close the sale on Friday, January 30th, everything went through great! We have spent the last week going to bed late, getting up early, and spending too much money on things to fix up our house. But, we have finally slowed down a bit- we came to realization that now that we own a house, we will always have something to do, so there is no rush to get it all done at once because that is just unrealistic! But we got the things done that we wanted to before we moved all of our stuff over- we painted our room and put up new chair rail and crown molding, and got a nice bed frame, we are waiting to get the dresser that we picked out because they were out of stock. We also got new carpet in our room- the rest of the house has some nice tile all throughout, so it's nice that we don't feel the need to get new carpet anywhere else for now. We figured we would leave the carpet in the other two bedrooms for now- Josh will be living in one, and our buddy Doug will be living in the other for a while. Our other friend Dan will be renting out the mother in law suite for now. They all know that when we are ready to use the second bedrooms for babies, they will have nine months notice to get out, haha. Anyways, here are some pics of our new place!!
This is Doug's room- he picked a lounge theme..
Josh's room- still working on finishing the paint in here....
Our room... messy but the colors are a little more neutral than the other rooms haha... and Mike worked his booty off getting it painted and the chair rail/crown molding put up! He is very proud : )
My kitchen!!
Mike, Doug and Dan will have a "dive gear room" which I love because I won't have to clean up after them!
This sun room will be Dan's "bedroom," it has it's own entrance which is kind of nice...
The mother in law suite kitchen...
The whole mother in law suite, where Dan will be living....
Our computer nook....
Where we will eventually have a real dining room table instead of a card table haha...
Hallway to the 3 bedrooms...
From the front door, living room and kitchen... sorry it's a mess, we're unpacking!
Living room...
The man room, aka the shop...
Buddy enjoying his new extra space!

Congrats on the house! It looks like you guys got a great place!
And you're right. There is ALWAYS something to work on with a house. We have a never-ending (or even really decreasing) list of projects over the years for ours!
Thanks so much for posting the pictures! The place looks great! And how awesome to have a place where the guys can put their dive stuff--so perfect! Looks like it's the perfect house for you guys! --Jenny
